「with which」は前置詞の「with」と、先行詞が動物・物・事の場合の関係代名詞・目的格の「which」が続いたものです。例えば先行詞が「a pen」の場合、「ペンを使って(書く等)」を表す「with a pen」の「a pen」の部分を関係代名詞の which に置き換えたものと考えます。前置詞と which を続けた文は堅い印象なるので、前置詞を関係詞節の末尾に置く場合もあります。
