付帯状況を表す独立分詞構文は、with をつけた形をとることが多くあります。「with + A(主語にあたる名詞・代名詞) + B(分詞)」の語順になり、「AがBして～」「AがBしながら～」という意味です。Bの分詞の部分は、A自体がBの動作を行う場合は現在分詞の「～ing」、AがBの動作を受ける側なら過去分詞になります。being の省略によって「with + A(主語にあたる名詞・代名詞) + 形容詞」となる場合もあります。
